Hume Cemboard Industries Sdn Bhd ("HCI")

HCI is the largest fibre cement manufacturer in Malaysia and it is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. HCI serves the growing markets of Malaysia and 40 countries worldwide, offering a portfolio of products and systems that provide developers, contractors, architects and interior designers with innovative solutions for the construction of buildings and architectural solutions.

HCI has two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Selangor and Perak respectively that produces HCI's cellulose fibre cement boards, being marketed and distributed under the brand name - PRIMA™. The PRIMA™ products are autoclaved cellulose fibre reinforced cement boards comprising of top grade cellulose fibre, silica, portland cement and water. HCI's wide range of PRIMA™ products could be utilised for both internal and external architectural applications, wall linings and ceiling applications.

HCI offers CIDB-certified IBS wall solutions, namely PRIMA™ Drywall & PRIMA™ Solid Wall Systems by collaborating with both local and international laboratories such as SIRIM in Malaysia, TUV SUD, PSB in Singapore, Branz & CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) in Australia & New Zealand.
